The Crossways Schools

Consultation to Join The Leaf Trust

The governing body of Crossways Infant & Junior Schools has voted to consult our communities and stakeholders in a formal consultation on the proposal to join The Leaf Trust, which we are pleased to share.

We are consulting on our proposal to join The Leaf Trust, who are focused on:

  • Supporting unique primary schools to grow together
  • Personal and professional growth
  • Education as a means of advancement and joy
  • Success for all

We believe that joining The Leaf Trust will allow our school to retain control over our destiny and best serve our community by providing the best education possible. We also recognise the potential and strength of collaboration in staff development, retention, and well-being. The vision behind The Leaf Trust is that, as all leaves on a tree are unique and different, they thrive while part of something bigger, as do schools.

As leaders, we are committed to improving the lives of children and staff. Our focus is on formalising our collaboration with The Leaf Trust and capitalising on our collective strengths. At this stage, we are consulting our communities on the proposal to join The Leaf Trust. Should the governors vote to proceed, a second consultation with staff concerning TUPE and the finer details will occur. I have added a high-level overview of our timeline at the end of this letter.

You are invited to share your view on the proposal:
